Barbara Ann Smith

Barbara Smith age 79 died on Monday, May 16th in her home. Barbara was born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania. She met the love of her life Lee Smith when she was a teenager. They raised their family in Oak Ridge, NJ from 1964 to 1992. They moved to Canton GA and lived there from 1992 to 2019. She then resided in Columbus GA through the remainder of her life.  She was a loving wife, sister, mother and friend. She was also a member of Orange Methodist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lee Smith and daughter in law Kimberlee Smith. She is survived by sons Lee Smith, George Smith, son-in-law Glenn Jones, daughters Sandra Jones, Mary Smith and daughter-in-law Beth Smith, brother Joseph Kovaleski, sister-in-law Sandra Kovaleski and niece Melissa Kovaleski. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 19, 2022 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Canton Funeral Home with interment to immediately follow. Visitation will be held the day of the funeral from 10:00am until the funeral hour at noon.
