Betty Scott

Betty A. Scott, 85 of Canton, GA passed away Monday, February 1. 2021 at The Oaks at Post Road in Cumming, GA

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 from Canton Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Macedonia Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3rd from 4:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Scott was a member of Greater Heights Baptist Church and a former member of Roswell Second Baptist Church.  She enjoyed sewing, working with flowers and gardening but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Louie F. Scott; parents, Cliff and Lizzie Burger and sister, Sara Nell Waller.  She is survived by her children, Debbie Powell (Rusty), Dennis Scott (Kathy), Teresa Coleman (Darrell), Randy Scott; sister, Carolyn Rogers; 7 grandchildren, Jason Powell, Heather Corbin, Jessica Turner, Rebecca Scott, Travis Scott, Shannon Brown, Ryan Coleman; 15 great grandchildren, Jarrett Powell, Kyra Powell, Brianna Corbin, Hunter Corbin, Chevy Corbin, Aubrey Corbin, Isabella Corbin, Trevor Dowdeal, Trent Dowdeal, Charlie Grace Turner, Henry Finn Turner, Lucy Jane Turner, Theo Scott, Emily Brown, Catelyn Brown; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Due to COVID-19 seating is limited to 50 people and facial coverings are recommended.
