Carolyn Cook Kelley

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Carolyn Cook Kelley, passed away at the age of 81, on Monday,

June 17, 2024, at her home in Canton, Georgia. Carolyn was born on January 10, 1943, in Dallas, Texas.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Robbins (Kerry), Kevin Kelley, Kristie Kelley and her 

grandchildren, John and Charles Robbins. Carolyn is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins

in Texas and beyond whom were very dear to her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin P Kelley, her mother Ruth DeWeese Cook Pickens

(Roswell, GA), her father Joseph Luther Cook (Dallas, TX) and her siblings from Texas, Martha Vaughan,

Joe Cook, Jerrel Cook, and Ann Wiley.

Carolyn enjoyed gardening, crafting, painting, sea shelling and camping. She especially enjoyed visiting

family in Texas whenever she could. In this time of sorrow, we find solace in the memories we shared

with Carolyn and her sweet, kind spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Rest peacefully and rejoice in

Heaven with your family.

Please join the family for visitation at 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, with a funeral service at 12:00

pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park, Canton Funeral Home, Canton, Georgia. Interment will follow the

service at Macedonia Memorial Park adjacent to the funeral home.
