Charles "Charlie" Roberts

Charlie Roberts, age 69, passed away on April 4, 2018.

Charlie was born in Atlanta to the late Cecil Lanier Roberts and Gladys Louise Martin.  He was a member of Waleska First Baptist Church.  Charlie enjoyed working with his hands, fishing, and camping- but above all he loved being "PaPa" to his beautiful grandchildren.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of more than 50 years, Jewell Roberts; three sons, Allen Roberts (Shawn) of Jasper, Brian Roberts (Christina) of Canton, and Scott Roberts (Kristen) of Clarkesville; two brothers, Lanier Roberts of Florida, and Steven Roberts of Atlanta; sister, Diane Jackson; brother in law and best friend, Jimmy Adams (Kay) of Jasper; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300 Rockville, MD 20852.

A family gathering will be held Saturday April 21, 2018 from 1-4pm with a memorial service beginning at 2pm, all at Canton Funeral Home.
