Chris Edward Mynes, age 52 of Canton, GA, went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2022.
Chris was born in Brunswick, Ohio, to Edward and Betty Mynes. He was employed with Fox Factory in
Gainesville, GA, as the Director of Human Resources.
Chris and his daughter Alivia Mynes passed together in an automobile accident, and is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Mynes. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Jennifer Schaefer Mynes; daughter, Sydney Faith Mynes; father, Edward
Mynes; brother, Brian; sister, Diana (Greg) Geist; brother in law, Jason Schaefer (Ashley Young); nieces,
Kristin (Billy) Pullman, Tara (Tyler) Beal, and nephew, Derek Darnall and leaving behind a host of friends.
Chris was a best friend and constant source of strength for Jennifer, and a devoted, loving father to the
lights of his life, Alivia and Sydney. Chris and Jennifer complemented each other and built a beautiful
life together. Chris loved watching his daughters play volleyball and guiding them through life. He took
great pride in gardening and caring for a backyard oasis for his family to enjoy. Often one would find
Chris in the kitchen cooking up an elaborate breakfast, which his girls adored, a fine steak dinner for
family and friends, and delicious treats. Chris was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns football fan.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday December 3, 2022 at Revolution Church located at 125 Union Hill Trail Canton Ga 30115. Memorial service will begin at 12:00 noon, preceded by visitation from 9:00am until 12:00 noon.
