Christine Scheller

Mrs. Christine Johnson Scheller 67, of Talking Rock, GA passed away Tuesday May 16, 2017 following an extended illness.

Visitation will be held Friday May 19, 2017 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park.  A vigil service will be held from 6:00PM-7:00PM Friday night during the visitation.  Funeral Mass will be held 11:00AM Saturday May 20, 2017 at Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church.  Father Victor Reyes will officiate. Interment will follow the mass at Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery.    Casual Sunday attire is appropriate for all services.

Mrs. Scheller was born May 11, 1950 in St. Paul Minnesota to the late Leo Younkin Johnson and Victoria Maria Brastad.

Christine is survived by her husband Mark Scheller of Talking Rock, Georgia.  Sons Jonathan Scheller of Nashville, Georgia and David Scheller of Ball Ground, Georgia.  Daughters Carrie Stahl of Marietta, Georgia; Rebecca Wheeler of Nelson, British Columbia; Monica Scheller of Americus, GA; Grace Scheller of Woodstock, GA.  Brother David Johnson of West St. Paul Minnesota. Sisters Judy Seivert of St. Paul Minnesota and Vickie Voss of White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

Christine devoted her whole life to loving life in all its forms and especially that of being a Mom. Moms are God's gift to the human race and they often struggle. In lieu of flowers, Christine's family asks that on a personal level you find a way to help a mom that is in need be that for just a moment or on a more structured basis. If that opportunity doesn't arise donate your time and yes some assets to a group that has a focus in this area.
