Christopher Unger

Christopher Ryan Unger, of Ball Ground, unexpectedly passed away on June 20, 2020.  Visitation will be held at Canton Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 24th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 25th, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. followed by a burial service at Macedonia Memorial Park. Christopher was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 5, 1986, and grew up in Indiana before moving to Georgia in 2008.  Christopher is predeceased by grandfathers, Wayne Bartlett and Robert Houston, aunt, Rhonda Edmondson, and brother Christian Unger. Christopher is survived by his mother, Teresa Coon, father, James Unger, bonus father, Eric Coon, siblings, Christine Myers, Brittany Gillis, Gabrielle Bonewitz, Drew Unger, and Olivia Unger.  Also surviving Christopher are his grandparents, Sandra Houston and Mary Lou and Jim Unger, Aunts, Joella Bennett and Jennifer McSherry, uncle, Jason Bartlett, cousins, Danielle Whitaker, Joshua Mills, Justin Bartlett, Zachary Mills, Austin Shaw, Abigail Fuller, Victoria Richardson Schoen, Avery Richardson, Mackenzie Bennett, Emily Bartlett, and Elijah Bartlett, nieces and nephews, Caiden, Colby, and Camilla Myers and many more second cousins and extended family. Christopher loved being outdoors, especially going hiking and riding his motorcycle. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.  His family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
