David Runyan

Mr. David Jason Runyan, 43, of Canton, GA passed away Thursday June 16, 2016.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Antioch Christian Church in Canton. Visitation will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5-8pm at Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park. Reverend Ken May will officiate.

Mr. Runyan was born December 15, 1972 in Milledgeville, GA to Wanda Herrington Runyan and David Randall Runyan. He was a lifelong member of Antioch Christian Church in Canton. Mr. Runyan served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked most of his career as an EMT in the metro Atlanta area.

Mr. Runyan is survived by his mother, Wanda Herrington Runyan, of Canton and father, David Runyan, of Marietta. He is also survived by his children, Lauriana, Karlyn, and Jaxon Runyan and their mother, Wendy Runyan, and Jace Runyan and his mother, Eva Gibbs; brother, Justin (Stephanie) Runyan and his children, Kaitlin Harms and Parker Runyan; and grandparents, Marvin and Claudia Herrington.

Mr. Runyan is preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Clifford and Jean Runyan; and brother, Josh Runyan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s research.
