Dr. Troy Howell Hutchinson II

The Hutchinson family is saddened to announce the death of Troy H Hutchinson II, MD of Sapphire NC. 

He was 92 years old. Born in Wise County Virginia and raised in Mauldin West Virginia. Dr. Hutchinson was a graduate of the University of Virginia, completing Under Grad, Medical School and his Specialty Training in Ear Nose and Throat there.

 He spent two years in the 82nd Airborne as a Combat Surgeon, finally settling in Lakeland Florida where he practiced medicine for 30 years at The Watson Clinic.

 Retiring in 1994, he and his wife moved full time to Sapphire NC where he could pursue the greatest passion of his life, his love of golf. He was loved by all who knew him as a kind and caring man. Dr Hutchinson is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sandy Hutchinson. His son and daughter in law Troy and Suzanne Hutchinson III and his grandson Troy H Hutchinson IV.
