Elizabeth Cahill

Elizabeth Cahill, age 75, left us to join the angels on October 4, 2017. She was born on April 2, 1942  in Queens, NY to Elisabeth Kissinger and Edward Cahill. Elizabeth lost her battle with lung disease and liver cancer.   She passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side.

Elizabeth worked at many jobs in her life including, a credit union, a hospital, a window factory and the sheriffs office, to name a few, but her favorite job was being a mom.  She enjoyed knitting, reading, watching TV and spending time with family.  She spent her time collecting Betty Boop and angels, but the thing she loved the most was her cup of black coffee, every morning and all day. Elizabeth was always helping someone, whether it was with advice, food or a place to stay so opening her heart to human strays was a common thing for her.  Many people called her "Mom".

Elizabeth would say that she was blessed with a large family.  This included her sister, Diane Penfold and her brother Edward Cahill Jr., 4 children; Daughters: Donna Wiser, Dale Wiser, Stephanie Kenady and a Son, Scott Heintz.   Later she was blessed with son in law Michael Kenady and daughter in law LeAnne Heintz. She had 7 grandchildren; Amber, Breann, Cody, Kelsey, Megan, Braden and Kaleb.  She also had 4 great grandchildren; Landon, Gracie, Zade and Hayden.

A memorial service will be held Sunday October 8, 2017 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Canton Funeral Home, located at 10655 E. Cherokee Dr. Canton Ga. 30115.
