Elizabeth "Lizzy" McFarland

Elizabeth "Lizzy" Jenkins McFarland passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at the age of 65.  Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband David McFarland, her parents Jimmy Lee Jenkins and Zona Wood-Jenkins, a daughter Claudia McFarland Velasquez, a brother Ernest Lee Jenkins and a sister Tammy Jenkins Dowdle (David). She had one brother Sam Jenkins (Glenda) and three sisters Debbie Jones, Lynn Dowdle (Gene), and Gail Harris (Timmy). She had three beloved children, Frankie McFarland, Ryan Haley, Teresa McFarland-Scroggins (Sam), and a "daughter at heart" Tracy Chumley (Anthony).  She also had 6 precious grandchildren Joshua Worley, Amberlea McFarland, Alexis Grant, Jesse Velasquez, Victoria McFarland, Dean Brown-McFarland and many others who also called her "Nana".

The family will receive friends at Canton Funeral Home Thursday, September 6th from 4 pm until 8 pm and again on Friday, September 7th from 10 am until 12 pm.  Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Canton Funeral Home at 12 pm on Friday with a graveside immediately following in the cemetery of Macedonia Memorial Park.
