Evelyn Gladner

Evelyn Ann Copp Gladner, age 86 of Alpharetta, GA, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph and Mary Goebel on August 8, 1934.

Throughout her life, Evelyn cultivated many close friendships, created while living in several different parts of the country – Brooklyn, NY, Westbury, NY, Stamford, CT, Bellevue, WA and finally settling in Alpharetta, GA. She often spoke about her many travel experiences and how much she enjoyed the regional cultures and unique foods throughout her adventures.

Evelyn was a loving mother and wife who cherished spending time with her family and friends, often planning holiday gatherings and events with her loved ones. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow.

Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Phil Gladner and grandson Taylor Copp.

She is survived by her three sons, Charles Copp and his wife Suzanne, of Newtown CT; Craig Copp and his wife Danna, of San Francisco, CA; and Chris Copp and his wife Destini, of Milton GA; as well as her five cherished grandchildren, Hunter, Connor, Carter, Charlie and Daniel.

The family wishes to thank all who cared for Evelyn during her last days. For those who have known Evelyn in her fruitful journey with us, her graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 3rd at 11:00 am, at the Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park in Georgia.
