Florence Kurtz

Florence Bonvie Kurtz, age 97, passed away Sunday, May 5th, 2019.  Florence was predeceased by her 10 brothers and sisters, her parents, Thomas and Anna Harris Bonvie and her husband, Jesse Kurtz.  A native of Boxford, MA, Florence was very active in the Order of the Eastern Star in Danbury, CT and state-wide.  She was also an avid follower of UConn Women’s Basketball and the New York Mets.

She is survived by her two daughters, Ellen Lyon and Pamela Levangie, as well as four grandchildren: Megan Burns (Edward), Greg Lyon (Laura), Jeremy Levangie and Ann-Michelle Levangie.  She also leaves 3 great-grandchildren: Jack, Erin and Nathan Burns.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
