Glenn Bender

Glenn Nicholas Bender of Canton, GA, was born March 6, 1956. Glenn peacefully lost his battle on July 22, 2016 in Canton, GA with his wife of 31 years by his side.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Janet Bender, his mother, Brenda Bender, sisters Joanne Gladden (David), Robin Lawrence (Jack) Laurie Facius (Dennis), sister and brother in laws, Donna and Stan Curtis, George and Jolene Whittaker, Cheri Whittaker and Tim Duffy, one remaining uncle Gale Bender.  Cousins Todd Bender, Jane Longster and Bruce Only. Glenn was also a proud uncle to several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Glenn Bender and Mother-in-law Arlene Whittaker, aunt Barbara Bender and cousin Tim Bender.

Glenn worked at Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems for 28 years before retiring in 2011.  Glenn was a loving husband, son, brother and uncle who enjoyed traveling, golfing and dining with his many friends and Bridge Mill.  And foremost, THE GREEBAY PACKERS!
