Gus Sutton, Jr.

Mr. Gus William Sutton Jr 81, of Waleska, GA passed away Saturday February 6th 2016 following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 10th 2016 in the chapel of Macedonia Memorial Park Funeral Home at 11:00am.  Interment will be held Wednesday in Georgia National Cemetery at 1:30pm.  Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10am-8pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Sutton was born October 2nd 1934 in Canton, GA to the late Gus William Sutton Sr, and Mrs. Ida Shirley Sutton.  Mr. Sutton Served in the United States Army and served with the Canton Fire Department for 30 years retiring as Deputy Fire Chief.

Mr. Sutton is survived by his son Michael Sutton of Waleska, GA. Daughter Deborah Sutton Weaver of Clayton, North Carolina. Sisters Mary Wiley of Canton, GA; Betty Griffin of Canton, GA; Kathy Ponder of Cartersville, Ga.  Brothers Willie B. Sutton of Canton, GA and Wayne Sutton of Canton, GA.  Grandchildren Josh and Justin Weaver of Clayton, North Carolina. Great Grandchild Brantley Lane Weaver of Clayton North Carolina.
