Herma Ann Parker

Herma Parker, 75, of Canton passed away on Saturday June 4, 2022 at Shadybrook Personal Care home after an extended illness.

She was born in Hinton, West Virginia to Herman and Glenna Richmond. She graduated from Forsyth
Technical Community College in 1975 in Practical Nursing. She went on to practice as a licensed
practical nurse until her retirement in 2003. She graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in
Psychology.

Herma is survived by her husband Tom, son Dr. Kevin Short of Cumming, daughter Kelli Jones of
Roanoke, Va., and son Sean Short of Dahlonega. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday June 11, 2022 at 1:00pm preceded by visitation from 11:00am  until the funeral hour.
