Jacqueline 'Jackie' Ann Collopy

Jacqueline Ann Collopy (formerly Jacqueline Ann Lane, Jackie to us) passed from this life on November 1st 2022. She was born to James and Eleanor Lane (formally Eleanor Beck) on October 17, 1940 in Washington DC.

Jacqueline connected with everyone she met and loved to tell a good story. She was a good listener and loved to sit at the kitchen table offering advice and laughs! Her hobbies were loving and guiding her family and friends for 82 years. She enjoyed a good glass of wine, a good meal, her favorite- the Bee Gees and dancing. Jackie loved times with family and friends and always shut the party down!

She is proceeded in death by her beloved son Brian James Collopy and her husband Edwin Joseph Collopy (Bud).

Jacqueline is survived by her brother Gothard Lane and sister Eleanor Gray Ball, her two sons David Collopy and wife Sharon, Keith Collopy and wife Kathy and her only daughter Jennifer and husband Kurt Singleton.

Additionally, Jacqueline leaves 6 grandchildren in this life, Emily and Caroline Collopy, Kasey Collopy and Beckett, Harper and Arden Singleton.

In her final days, Jackie expressed her love and gratitude to all of her family and friends for an amazing 82 years with us. She was surrounded by Jennifer and Beckett when she left this earth. God was in her midst and we are grateful for the promise of a reunion one day with this good and faithful woman.

A graveside service will be held Saturday November 19, 2022 preceeded by a vsitation beginning at 1:00pm.  

A reception post service will be held. Details will be announced when finalized.
