Jerry John Freseman

Jerry John Freseman, 82 passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at his residence.

Born in Minnesota on May 31, 1942. He was a son of the late Edward W. Freseman and Elizabeth (Gudmunson) Freseman.

He retired from McCombs County Sheriff’s Department in Michigan. After retirement he had a passion for being a handyman. Jerry was loved by all. He was a member of the VFW and Cherokee Cruisers Car Club where he was awarded for his late model pickup truck. After marriage to Patricia, they enjoyed traveling the World.

He is survived by his wife of 39 plus years Patricia (Logan) Freseman; brother Jim Freseman; son Gary Freseman as well as Aaron and Adam Elder. He also survived by Jaedyn, Landon, Tanner, Brynlee, Mason,  and Murphy.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, Georgia 30114 with Military Honors at 1:00 pm and Pastor Ken May officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Cherokee Cruisers Car Club 11763 Bells Ferry Road, Canton, Georgia 30114.
