John Gargano

John Louis Gargano, 71 of Canton, GA formerly of Middletown, NY passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Northside Hospital-Cherokee.

Memorial services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 from the Canton Funeral Home Chapel.  A gathering of friends will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Mr. Gargano enjoyed watching NHRA, going to car shows, the shooting range and visiting the beach.  John played the drums with Henry and the Sunsets at the New York World’s Fair in 1965.  He was involved with several Homeowner’s Associations; most recently here at Grand Oaks in Canton, GA.  He was also involved with the Loeb House Charity in New York, for many years.  More than anything John loved spending time with his family.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Geraldine Gargano.  He is survived by wife, Linda Gargano; children, Steven Gargano (Janelle Barsuhn), John Gargano, Wade Daddona (Lindsey), Mandi Crum (Joshua); 2 grandchildren, Xavier Sebastian Crum, Brayleigh Grey Crum; brother, Gerald Gargano (Sandra); sisters, Camille Karatka (Arthur), Maryanne Lewis (William), Joan Grasso (Christopher), Theresa Kendall (Rick Robinson); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seating is limited to 50 people and masks are recommended.
