Joyce B Prince

Joyce Elaine Bailey Prince passed into Eternity on April 28, 2024. She was born on July 28, 1934 in Blue Ridge, Georgia to Noah and Etta Fay Bryant Bailey.
At the time of her passing she was 89 years old.

She is survived by her beloved Husband, Jack M. Prince of Marietta, Georgia. On October 8, 2024 they would have been married 70 years.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Norah and Mother, Etta Fay Bryant Shipman and Step Father, W. Herman Shipman of Dalton, Georgia.

Sisters: Twins Ethal and Ethel, Kathleen Bailey, Brother John Preston, Infant. Sister, Regennia Phillips and Husband Vern Phillips.
Brothers-In-Laws: James Thompson, Jackie Waddell, Gene Strickland and George Sumner. Sisters-In-Law, Lynn Shipman and Betty Matthews Shipman.

She is survived by Sisters: Shelah Thompson, Marietta, GA, Wilmer Waddell of Chatsworth, GA, Betty (Brad) Burke of Chatsworth, GA, Sharon Sumner, Newnan, GA, Martha Strickland of Cleveland, TN and Mary (Carl) von Seutter of Greenville, AL. Brothers: Paul Shipman of Canton, GA, Sam Shipman of Social Circle, GA, Merlon Shipman of Dalton, GA and Jimmy Shipman of Dalton, GA.

Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Service to honor and celebrate Joyce’s life will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 1:00 in the Chapel of Memorial Park, Canton Funeral Home, Canton, GA. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 1:00 in the Chapel. Memorial will follow.

Interment will follow the service at Memorial Park adjacent to the funeral home.
