Kenneth Allen, Jr.

Kenneth Lenard Allen, Jr. was born on April 26, 2016.  He died peacefully in the arms of his parents after one and a half beautiful and unforgettable hours.

During that time, KJ's family was blessed with the opportunity to touch, love, and hold him closely.  Through the grace of God, he was baptized while still alive.

He was beautiful, and looked exactly like his father.  In his short time with us, he inspired us by his strength, and fought hard to stay alive.

Although he is not physically with us, he will forever live on in the hearts of his parents and family.  We thank God for our beautiful and beloved guardian angel.

For our present troubles are small and won't last very long.  Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!  So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen.  For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to H.E.A.R.T. strings Perinatal Bereavement and Palliative Care at Northside Hospital.
