Leann Purves

Leann Sheppard Purves, age 54, passed away at her home in Dunwoody, GA on Sunday, March 3rd. Leann was born in Washington Courthouse, OH on May 26, 1964. Her brother Charles Christopher Sheppard precedes her in death in 1992. She is survived by her children Kristen Anne Richardson (Scot) of Cumming, GA, Nicholas Parker Purves and Ryann Taylor Purves of Las Vegas, NV; stepsons Brandon Purves of Las Vegas, NV and Chris Purves of New Braunsfels, TX; grandsons Everett Hayes Richardson and Sawyer Jayce Richardson of Cumming, GA; her father Jack Sheppard of OH, stepfather Skip Hidy of Washington Courthouse, OH, and mother Diane Cornelius of Atlanta, GA; aunts Cynthia Knisley (Dennis) of High Springs, FL and Ann Gill of Durham, NC. Leann was a member of Dunwoody United Methodist Church and involved in several Bible studies. She was a bright and caring woman whom has now left us to go join our Lord in Heaven free from all pain and sadness. Living out eternity celebrating His glory.

The family will receive friends from 11am -1pm on Saturday, March 9th in the chapel of Canton Funeral Home. A graveside will immediately follow in the cemetery of Macedonia Memorial Park.
