Lemma Jones

Mrs. Lemma Marie Jones of BallGround  age 98 passed away peacefully November 30, 2019 with her daughter by her side.  She was at Sonshine Manor in Ellijay.  Mrs. Lemma Jones was a wife, homemaker and proud mother of one son and two daughters.  She was born May 10, 1921 in Woodstock to her now deceased parents James  and Emma Davis.

Mrs. Lemma Jones is also predeceased by her husband Golden E Jones, daughter Evelyn Garland, brothers Williard Davis, Roy Davis, William Clarence Davis, sisters Birdie Bowen, Emma Davis, Mary Dee Davis and Viller Davis.  She is survived by her son Michael R. Jones, daughter Joann Burgess, sisters Willie Mae Richardson and Shirley Holden.  She is the proud Grandmother to several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The Family will receive friends on Monday, December 9th at 1:30 at Canton Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 2:30.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to  Homestead Hospice st 97 Deep South Farm Road Blairsville Ga.

Lemma is in the care of Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park.
