Marvin A Doughty

Marvin Doughty passed away on January 26,2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 19, 1942, the son of the late Samuel C. Doughty, and Francis Lawrence Doughty.

Marvin was an aeronautical engineer and graduated from the University of Alabama in 1963 then went on to get his master's degree from Georgia State. He loved gardening and palm trees. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Ann Harrison Doughty, his son Daniel Doughty, his daughter Lara Lathem, and six grandchildren. His funeral will be on Tuesday January 30th at 1:00 pm visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 at Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park.
