Mary D Wilson

Mary D Wilson was born on February 14, 1939, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 10 2023, at the age of 84.

Mary was one of twelve children of Fred and Sarah Easley. She is survived by her sister Christine Gartrell, son Michael Wilson, son Leonard Wilson, and daughter April Awe. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She met the love of her life, Jonny Wilson, and got married in 1956 and had 4 beautiful children.

Mary D Wilson went to Orlando Technical  College, where she obtained her surgical nursing degree. Immediately after, she started her career with Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she retired after 30 years and relocated to Woodstock Georgia to help raise her grandchildren.

After relocating, Mary found a lovely church Allen Temple AME in Woodstock GA. where she served the Lord in various capacities. Mary was part of the primers, a greeter, and a missionary. Mary enjoyed traveling,reading, and playing cards with her card buddies.

Mary was admired by all who knew her. She was a loving mother ,grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Above all, Mary was a strong believer in Jesus, and she is now with the Lord. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Funeral service are planned for Saturday August 19, 2023 beginning at 2:00pm followed by interment in Macedonia Memorial Park. Visitation will take place from 1:00 until the funeral hour at 2:00pm.
