Reba Crofford

Reba C. Crofford passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the age of 95.  A native of Pollard, AR, Mrs. Crofford served as a Secretary for the VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff, MO for 38 years and had many friends.  Upon her retirement, she continued to volunteer there until her move to Georgia in 2015. She was a long time member of South Poplar Bluff General Baptist Church, where she had many friends, and was also a loyal member of the Rebekah Club. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Alleyne Essary (Joe) of Canton, GA, four grand sons, Mark and David Essary of Milton, GA, Charlie Ruff of Fayetteville, AR and Jeffery Watson of Pocahontas, AR, three great-grand daughters, Everly and Emme Essary from Milton, GA and Taelor Biotti from TX, also 3 great-great grand children, Alyssa and Savannah Ruff from Fayetteville, AR and Berkeley Biotti of TX.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel L. and Mary Davis Simpson, a son, Charles Allen Watson and a sister, Joyce O'Hara.

She will be received by Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO (573) 785-9666 with a visitation planned for Friday, October 26 from 5-7 pm.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 27 at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR.
