Susan Stovall Woodworth

Susan “Susie” Stovall (Ziegler) Woodworth, 78 passed away peacefully  at home in Canton, GA surrounded by her family on August 25, 2023.

Susie is survived by her husband Alan “Woody” Woodworth, daughters  Kelly Robertson and  Wendy (Ken) Bridle, grandchildren Matthew, Hunter, Drew, Conner, Emily, Collin, Reese and Brennan and brother Thomas Stovall.

Susie was born on June 22, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan. Growing up she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She attended Mumford and Cass Tech High School and went on to attend Ferris State College. After college Susie married and later moved to Northern Michigan where she enjoyed spending time boating, entertaining friends, and participating in charitable events. Eventually she moved to Canton, GA to spend more time with her daughters and adoring grandchildren.

She was a supportive and encouraging wife, mom, nana, and friend to all who were blessed to know her. She had a passion for travel including cruising several times around the world. Susan gained many friends along the way who she cherished. She had such a vibrant personality and a zest for life which will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. Susie leaves behind wonderful memories and a legacy of love and positivity. She will forever be a light in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for October.
