Vincent Joseph West

Vince West, age 77, of Canton, GA. passed away December 12, 2022, after many years of health related ailments, including heart disease, kidney transplant, skin cancer, back surgery, but ultimately he lost the battle with prostate cancer. He fought with everything he could for months, and passed peacefully and pain free.  Vince was a graduate of the University of Southern Illinois and an avid motorcyclist, patriotic citizen, and adventure planner.

An amazing man, incredible dad and devoted husband, he loved life and lived it to the fullest. There wasn’t a person he’d meet that he didn’t get to know intimately. He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed all the “spectacular” moments around him.

Vince is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary West, his children Dana Gardner and son-in-law Glenn, Adam West and daughter-in-law Christine, his grandchildren: Kylie, Cortney, Gavin and Brooklyn, and many nieces and nephews. Vince was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Helen Wesolowski, sister Marilyn Sandoval, nephew Mark Sandoval, and brother-in-law David Loring.

The family is welcoming you to a “Celebration of Life” of Vince on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 from 1-4 pm at Soleil at Laurel Canyon clubhouse located at 547 Laurel Canyon Parkway Canton, GA. 30114.
