With two decades of dedicated service in the funeral industry, Michael has committed his life to guiding families through their most difficult moments with dignity, grace, and profound empathy. His exceptional commitment to excellence and high ethical standards in death care earned him prestigious recognition when he was featured in a 2010 publication of Funeral Director Magazine.A Legacy of Service and MinistryBefore entering the funeral profession, Michael served his country with distinction in the U.S. Army. As a veteran of both the Panama War and the Persian Gulf War, his military career took him on global deployments all over the world, instilling in him a deep sense of discipline, honor, and a passion for serving others.In addition to his professional expertise, Michael is an ordained Baptist Minister. He balances his professional duties with a vibrant spiritual life, remaining highly active in ministry at Cumming Second Baptist Church. His unique background as both a funeral professional and a minister allows him to provide a rare level of holistic, spiritual, and emotional support to grieving families when they need it most.Family and CommunityAt the heart of Michael's life is his family. He has been happily married to his beloved wife, Darlene Franks, for many years. Together, they are the proud parents of three children and the doting grandparents of seven grandchildren.
